Saturday, September 9 Event Will Be Held at Tamarack Golf Club in Naperville
CHICAGO, Monday, June 26, 2017 – Kenway Consulting announced today its 8th Annual Charity Golf Outing will take place on Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Naperville’s Tamarack Golf Club and will once again benefit ALIVE Rescue, a Chicago-based animal rescue that saves, rehabilitates and places abandoned, abused and stray animals.
Golf packages for the yearly fundraising event are $150 and include green fees, golf cart use, breakfast, lunch, and two drink tickets. Sponsorship packages starting at $250 are available, as well as individual raffle tickets for both $12,500 in cash prizes and merchandise ranging from hotel stays and sporting event tickets, to restaurant and spa gift certificates (winners need not be present).
“ALIVE Rescue is a special place—something I quickly realized after volunteering there as a dog walker and adopting the first dog I ever walked. To be part of an animal’s journey from rescue to adoption is an amazing experience, and the positive effects these animals have on the people and families who rescue them are indescribable. I often ask myself, ‘Who rescued who?’” said Brian King, Kenway president and CEO. “Kenway couldn’t be more proud to help raise money for such a wonderful organization for the second year in a row.”
ALIVE Rescue believes every animal has the right to a well-balanced, socialized and fulfilled life, and provides medical, behavioral and physical support for animals despite their age, health and/or breed. The organization promotes sustainable living and care-giving within communities by building awareness, appreciation and respect for all animals and the environment. Last year, Kenway’s Charity Golf Outing raised $30,000 for the Chicago-based non-profit.
