CHICAGO, Monday, February 12, 2024 Kenway Consulting today announced that it has been named a “Pacesetter” in ALM | Law.com Compass Research’s new 2024 Data Governance Report.

The published report delves into Data Governance and its emerging role in shifting data management strategies to focus on connecting a client’s IT strategy with its business strategy, informing and guiding both to enable organizations to use data as an asset. Kenway is recognized as a leader among innovators, moving the needle for clients.

“At Kenway, we view Data Governance as a verb – an active, ongoing, participative process – that can transform how data is managed and utilized in an organization. It’s about moving away from the idea of governance as something done ‘to’ employees, to something done ‘with’ and ‘for’ them,” said Brenden McGlinchey, Information Management Practice Lead, Kenway Consulting. “This shift not only enhances data quality and compliance, but also fosters a culture of collaboration and innovation. We’re extremely proud of receiving this Pacesetter recognition, as it underscores our expertise in the space and highlights our ongoing success helping clients leverage their data more effectively.”

ALM | Law.com Compass Pacesetter Research provides independent, objective research to providers and buyers of professional services and practical insights that inform decision-making processes. Analysts selected 19 firms for the 2024 Data Governance Report from dozens of providers across four market segments. Of those 19, Kenway was one of three identified as a Pacesetter. Service providers were scored against five core criteria: Business Model, Value Proposition, Service Delivery, Client Impact, and Brand Eminence.
